Have you tried the upper LH corner of the screen ? Just under where is says "Hello Downtown", then it says...

"Show new replies to your posts."

And to enable that feature... at the top of the entire thread, just above the dark gray bar, are 6 user buttons. Click on the one that says "Notify".
