is there any issues using stock grip screws with cool hand/guuun/lok grips??? back 5 or 6 years ago when I got my grips none of the makers came with screws so I just re-used the ones that came with the rubber grips (with the #60 O-ring underneath added) with my coolhand and guun ones. I was going to order a new set of grips for an ODG P-01 I just grabbed and noticed that they all come with torx screws with the grips nowadays.
question is, is there a reason for the grip screws? or can I just use my phillips head OEM screws from the rubber grips like I did with my previous Cool hand and Guun grips. I'm probably over thinking it, but my brain was wondering if the OEM screws are longer than needed for thinner g10 grips and would interfere with something if screwed in to thinner grips, or if the torx screws that LOK or cool hand provide are simply low profile so the heads sink below the grip holes (pure aesthetics then)...
