I replaced my P07 DUTY recoil spring and guide with a later P07 .40 S&W unit not long after I got it. Still a stock P07 factory assembly, just not original to the early DUTY model P07.
I carried it for several years before getting the slide milled for a red dot and rear back up sight. Springs, etc. were still factory.
Maybe 3 or 4 years ago I replaced the trigger return spring and firing pin block spring with CGW reduced power versions and replaced the firing pin retaining pin with a CGW pin (did the same in my P07 9MM, P09 9MM and P09 .40 S&W.) Not because of any issues, but because I kept reading about others having issues with the trigger return springs and firing pin retaining roll pins. The originals appeared to be fine and I put them away as possible spares in the future.
Zero issues since with the CGW parts in my pistols.
You can dry fire test the parts at home and then go to the range with the pistol and fire it at your first opportunity.
Replacing the springs isn't like replacing a trigger, or hammer or a mechanical part that can hang, rub, bind against the other original/factory parts. Just inspect the old springs to make sure they don't have any odd/unusual wear spots and then lube up the new springs and install them. There are videos on the internet (you tube) that show you how to take the P07/P09 pistols apart. Not hard to do, but different than the CZ75's if you have some experience with those.
Pay attention to the instructions for installing the firing pin retaining pin to make sure it's oriented correctly.
I've never replaced a hammer spring in the P07/P09 pistols but that's an easy job, too.
