So far all I've done is dry fire a couple hundred times using the O-Ring method. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the DA trigger pull is getting smoother.

The P-01 can come from the factory with some machine marks that gets smoothed out with dry firing.  That's what's going on here.  If you want to accelerate that, you can polish some of the moving parts to get that nice glassy smooth pull.  There's good guides for polishing on this forum and Youtube if you search.

Thanks for the reply. My CGW Decocker Pro Kit arrived a few days ago and I've been polishing as per the Gunsmithing section and several videos. I started with lighting sanding the trigger guard, sear cage, etc with 600 grit to clean up the witness spots typically found around the edges. I found wrapping the sandpaper around a popsicle stick worked very well on flat/parallel surfaces. From there I progressed to 1000 grit, 1500 grit and finally 2000 grit. Finally, I used soft tips on my flexible Dremel and polished with Flitz. Per the suggestion of member MKD I used Flitz with toothpicks and Q-tips chucked up in my Dremel for tight spots and corners.

One thing I have seen many people talk about is the Polycoat overspray on the inside of the frame where the trigger bar moves. I lightly sanded this area to remove the overspray with 1000 grit and 2,000 grit. The CGW Pro Kit install went surprisingly well. Thanks to the Earl An video below, I was able to fully assemble the sear cage in just a few minutes. Now that it is complete I can't believe how super smooth the DA trigger pull is. According to my Wheeler digital trigger pull guage my DA trigger pull weight averages 6 lbs 8 oz. From the Decocked position the trigger pull averages 6 lbs 6 oz and SA averages right at 3 lbs, maybe a hair under. I'm extremely happy with the results.

Part of the initiation process to our club is to spend hours of frustration and stress to re-assemble that sear cage.  Professional gunsmiths not allowed.  jk, great job!

Thank you.... But trust me, there was Plenty of STRESS up until I found the Earl An video. I watched the CGW video a half dozen times and couldn't figure out which way some of the parts were turned when installed. The Author has probably done hundreds of installs so he made it look easy.

Unfortunately, I'm older and may eyes aren't what they used to be. I kept looking at video after video until I found one that had a lot of closeup views and very clear concise instructions that walks you through what goes where and how it gets turned. Earl An's video was a godsend. I'm not sure if it's a sticky some where but it should be.

Another step that caused me great stress was installing the those tiny pins that holds the disconnector in the hammer. Trying to align the holes and get the pin in when you're half blind and have fat fingers.... without anything moving is a real joy. All that being said, it did go well and I'm sure it will be a lot easier the next time.

If you decide to get another CZ75 and install the pro-package, order the $9 hammer strut from CGW.  CGW will install the pins, disconnector and hammer onto the new strut as a complimentary service.  It saves a lot of headache.
