CZ 82/83 Variations
« on: April 05, 2023, 04:27:48 AM »
So is the following information I found on the internet correct?

CZ-82 in 9mm Makarov. Have one already.
CZ-83 in 9mm Makarov. Does this exsist?
CZ-83 in 380. Have two already.
CZ-83 in 32 ACP. Looking for one already.

I just aquired (01 Apr) a 1989 CZ-82 in 9 Mak, also have 2 1991 CZ-83's in 380 I brought back from Germany in 1992, and a 1953 CZ-52. I'm leaning towards getting more CZ made pistols and was wondering if the above listed calibers for the CZ-83 is correct.

Obligatory pictures of the my little CZ herd thus far, CZ-82, CZ-83, CZ-83, and CZ-52.

Correct listing. The MAK in the 83 exists but not commonly seen.

J&G Sales had one in the case last Thursday.

Edit to add: They also had a 83 SS commercial model.

SS or more likely nickel? As far as I know, they didn’t do a factory SS.

I’m sure you’re correct. Last time I saw one was 10+ years ago. It was so shiny and I wanted it badly. Thought $400 was to much back then. This was $425(?) and a dull silver. Still thought about it. :D
