LCI removal PCR

Can the LCI on a 75 PCR be removed?  Does someone make a blank to take its place?

You can remove it but NO ONE makes a blank for it. Why do you want to remove it? While I'm not a fan of lci's I've never had one be an issue in any of my 3 PCR's and one has north of 26,000 rounds through it now.

Just don't like it.  Had I known the PCR had it I never would've bought one.

Well as I said I dislike them as well but other than that the PCR is the best all around pistol I've ever owned and I've owned ALOT of pistols.

Some guys have gotten wrapped up in the notion that it lci's cause reliability issues. Yes there have been cases but no it's very rare and just not the norm. I personally don't even pay attention to the lci's on my guns. I physically know when the are hot and when they are not.

Exactly! I feel that the LCI is a GREAT feature and a selling point over other models. I use and rely on mine all the time. Why would anyone feel that is a not desirable is beyond me, unless there were previous warranty type issues of course.

It's okay to like the lci but it's an unsafe practice to RELY on it. There is absolutely no safer way to determine the firearms state than visible chamber inspection.

You didn't see it before buying it? It says it twice on the cz website that it has one.

To tell the truth, I forgot about the LCI on the PCR.  It has never given me any issues, and I never used it.  My PCR has about 10K through it and I can’t think of any issues with chambering for any reason, the most obvious would have been the LCR.  I drop a drop of rem oil when I clean the upper, so I’m sure that has helped with reliability.  I have a 75DUpper on a p-01 frame, no issues there either.  The LCI in my opinion is there but nothing to worry about.
