CZ P10SC POI
« on: March 03, 2023, 04:40:40 PM »
Just took my brand new CZ P10SC to the range the other day. I was shooting two inches low at about 15 yards. I have done some research and realized that I need some different sights if I want to change my point of impact. I had to cover the bullseyes at 15 yards and use a combat holdover.

I like to use POI holdover. I don't have calipers and a lot of time to try and figure out exactly what sights I need. Anyone have a reccomendation for a good pair of sights to get me where I want to be? I never had this problem with any other pistols so this is new to me. My pistol came with standard factory sights.

The barrel starts to rise as the bullet starts to move. Vertical POI is controlled by the "power" of the ammo you choose to shoot. SD ammo might hit dead center, while target ammo might fall low.

So the sights might be "correct" for some types/brands of ammo. I'd experiment with the ammo first. You're going to shoot the gun again. Just try another brand of ammo.

Thats a good suggestion. I ran 115gr and 124 gr factory ammo through it about 250 rounds of each. Both were hitting low.
