Additional comparison photos:

Slides (2023 version on the left)

Sear cages, trigger bars, etc. (2023 version on the left)

Slides - sides (2023 version at the bottom)

Paint finishes (2023 version at the bottom)

Trigger bar lifter spring - left and right.  The part that gets me is that the spring on the right is pinning against the frame and not sitting in the grove.  Same thing on both SP-01s.  I don't think it is by design, or is it?

One thing I noticed in my 2021 version (fiber optic front) was the lack of machine marks inside and on parts.
Btw factory trigger action had no grit as commonly reported in the past.

I also noticed the lack of machine marks as well.  I am sure that the updated SP-01s will be as enjoyable to shoot.

The profile of the updated trigger is almost identical to the 85 trigger (stainless steel).

The machine/tool marks are almost gone (especially the trigger bar and the sear cage).  CZ probably re-tooled and passed on the costs to us  ;)

I still smoothed out the bits with 1000-2000grit sandpaper and polished them before reassembly.  With the 13lb main spring, DA/SA went from 8.6/4.8 to 5.4/2.2.  The trigger action is very smooth, and the break is clean.

Thanks gentlemen.  I took it to the range yesterday and it was a lot of fun!  Low recoil, fast sight acquisition and a smooth trigger, a perfect CZ trifecta  :)

It's good to know that CZ USA still tries to improve their manufacturing process.  ;D

Besides the cajun stuff I installed,I also installed an adjustable rear sight since it is a range gun for me.

Does this mean that the replacement parts list will be changing from one year to the next?

I don't think the parts list will change at all.  The parts seem to be better machined and finished, but the specs should be the same, and perhaps with tighter tolerance.
