Hi guys,  I havent posted for a while, pretty hectic year.  You may remember I was having two carbines rebbled to 6 mm PPC and 6.5 mm PPC.  The 6 mm was finished a couple of months ago and shoots like a dream, weighs six pounds, and is thirty nine and a half inches long.  .7 inche groups with Sako factory ammo.  My son just had one completed by J Belk and hes getting .4 inch groups.  Loveely rifles.  Aint life grand?

So the bolt head could handle the case head size change?   Who did the work for you?

Regards,
Travis

Right.  The 220 REussian is the parent cartridge of both the PPCs and the 7.62 X 39 so there was no bolt face or feed rail work and the clip feeds fine.  Bills gun shop in south Ft Worth did mine and Jack Belk did my sonss.  Jack Belk did my sons and did a little better job.  Jack posts on accuratereloading a lot.  his email is in his profile.  Its just a simple rebbling job so any competant smith can do it.

My computer crashed and I've been having various little problem giving it back life, I've went with a high speed connection thus I had to change e-address. I'll be posting once my little quirks get fixed.

Glad to hear from you all,
Fred

Hey Fred,  I just picked up the 6.5 PPC 527.  Only took the guy two years.  I have fireformed three cases and have the dies ordered.  Stand by for the first report.  Another subject, ordered the 376 bbl for the Mexican Mauser project.  I went to Houston and shot one built by a friend, awesome.
