New CZ P-07 Suppressor Ready, but with regular sights?

Hi all,

Apparently this is a thing?  I just picked mine up, brand new, 2023 model, and it has standard sights.  It's definitely a Suppressor Ready P-07 as it says so on the box, has a threaded barrel with matching serial number, and was purchased brand new through a trusted local store.

My P-09 SR came with suppressor height sights so this seems odd to me.  I've registered the warranty on the P-07 with CZ and have reached out to their Customer Service to see if this was a factory goof, but do any of you know what's up with that?

I've no first hand insight into the workings of CZ, but my P-09 came that way. I bought it new it about 7.5 years.

FWIW, I've seen photos of P-07s set up the same way, but don't know if they are stock or with aftermarket barrels.

I consider mine more compensator ready than suppressor ready.

Odd.  Thanks.  Yeah, it’s all stock and new and the barrel SN matches.

I’m hoping they are willing to ship me a set of the suppressor height sights that are supposed to come with this, as even if I get it cut for an optic I still really like those sights and would like to run a pair on this pistol.

i saw a suppressor ready P07 new at a dealer today. it had the regular sights and was listed as a "duty" model. it was under $500 new and i would have grabbed it if i didn't already have 2 p07s.

I remember seeing those and wondering why they'd sell them with standard sights.  Maybe they were having trouble getting enough suppressor height sights.  Or they figured some people would want to find/buy/install their own.  Some people don't like night sights as suppressor height sights either.  They just want a black rear sight and a white dot front sight, or night sight for the front.

Seems like, a couple years ago I heard they were having problems getting reliable night style suppressor sights for the SR P01 Omega pistols.  I know my front sight on mine has failed twice in less than 10 years.  Just stopped working.  It's a night stand use gun.  Hasn't been to the range in years but the front sights fail just sitting in a drawer.

Still no response from CZ customer service.  Odd.  I've reached out again as I mostly just want to know if this was an error or not.  If they're not shipping with suppressor-height sights anymore, fine, but don't advertise this model as having them if that's the case.

Best case is they ship out a set, but again, I'm this close to having the slide cut so that's almost secondary in importance to just getting an answer.

Well, super disappointed in CZ customer service.  Two contact attempt to their CS via their website and no response. 

I've sent the slide off to Primary Machine to be milled for an RMR with no rear dovetail, so it's moot now, but it's unfortunate as CZ customer service was very good to me in the past when I had issues with their pistols.  Bummer.

I'll throw an RMR on there until I order a RMR-HD or RCR and then call it good.
