4 long days
« on: September 09, 2023, 09:12:24 AM »
CGW call on Friday, PCR with the pro package is complete and shipped. It will be here in 4 long days. First time in a long time I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. when I sent it in they gave me an estimated ship date of 9/18, they beat that by 10 days.
4 days can be very short time like when on vacation or it can be a very long time waiting on your gun to be sent back from CGW.

It arrived yesterday, dry fire feels all so so good. Having heart issues and don't know if I can make it to the range today or not.
love the feel  of the trigger both DA and SA, DA is 6.2  and SA is 3.7 just right in my opinion for a carry gun. love the reset and the new flat trigger.
Dry fire is nice but I NEED to get to the range and live fire to feel the rhythm of the pistol. I think it would do my heart good LOL

played with the pcr dry firing comparing the CGW PCR to the stock full size. comparing reset, trigger pull, creep everything one could compare while there was difference the more I played the less impressed I was. I thought to my self I must not be a trigger snob.
I couldn't take it anymore and headed to the range. Lets just say this, the full size never came out of the bag. I was impressed all over again
the result of the little difference was very big and showed up on the target. 100 trouble free rounds and thats all I had in me. I can't wait to go to the range on a day I am feeling good and really get to know the rhythm of my new PCR.

Excellent!

Lots of gunsmithing experience went in to that pistol.  It all adds up.
