Mag Release Problem
« on: January 20, 2024, 10:36:58 AM »
I have 3 P10c handguns, and a P10s. One P10c and the P10s the mags fly out when you hit the mag release. Two of the P10c pistols the mags are painfully slow to come out. The one thing I noticed is the slow release guns are the USA made, while the CZECH made guns the mags fly out. Anybody else have this issue?

You are being "bit" by tolerance stack-up. The difference in one single part between the 2 manufacturing locations could be as little as 0.003" (the typical diameter of a human hair).

Assuming all of your mags measure the exact same dimensions...
Assuming you have added no modified or 3rd party parts to your P10's that bear upon the mag well....
• You can hope that through use and normal wear that the offending part will "loosen up". Or...
• You can go looking for the offending part, hopefully remove it from the gun, and polish off a very small amount of material.

Usually, the offending part(s) will show scuffed surfaces that can be easily seen under bright light after hundreds of uses.
