New Apex Trigger Kit Just Installed In P10C
« on: September 26, 2023, 03:43:27 PM »
Just installed the Apex trigger kit last night.  It was an easy installation and man what a nice, comfortable trigger.  I installed the whole kit, that reduces the trigger pull and gives it a kind of rolling break.  Looking forward to going to the range and give it a good work out.

After taking the P10C out to the range, although the trigger pull is very light, I didn't shoot well with the rolling break of the full Apex kit.  I put the factory disconnect back in and now have a defined wall just before the break, which just works better for me.

I completely understand!  But for me, I have to have a wall and some creep so that I can stabilize the gun with a little pressure from my trigger finger before the thing goes off.

I think this is why I can shoot most pistols with a 3-4 lb trigger pretty well but struggle some with a 2-3 lb "crisp" trigger.  I actually like the CZ striker design with just some polished parts, a duty grade CGW Striker, and a 4 lb Glock striker spring and keepers.  That is what I've had in my three P-10 pistols for several years now.

Sounds great that you have a combination of parts that works for you.

It's great that you've got that mastered. Wish it worked for me, but then i haven't practiced with that type of break much. Enjoy your shooting.
