DWX vs. CZ TS2 Blue
« on: November 22, 2023, 02:19:17 PM »
I own a fully Cajunized SP-01 (all the goodies and SAO with FPB delete) and a highly customized Ruger SR1911.  Recently, I handled and dry fired both a CZ TS2 (blue) and a DWX.  The TS2 can be had for less than $1,300 and the DWX at about $1,900.  I loved both handguns and would purchase both if my wife wouldn't object.  My takeaway is that the DWX doesn't warrant the $600 difference between the two.  If the DWX was $1,500 or so, I would go that direction over the TS2.  All this being said, I think the TS2 is a great deal at sub $1,300.  If I had it to do over again, I would have skipped the Cajun build on the SP-01 and spent an extra $300 (over what I have in the SP-01) and just bought a TS2.

I'm gonna guess that DWX prices will come down over time and an optic-ready version will be made available.  OR would be a game-changer.

I'm with you. Prices will drop after the initial "gotta have it" boys all rush out and buy theirs.

Get the TS2 now and look again at the DWX this time next year.
