Snagged a 2075 RAMI
« on: October 26, 2023, 01:02:41 AM »
I've been eyeing this at a local shop for several weeks and decided to make an offer that they accepted. I prefer to carry hammer-fired pistols to strikers and this one appealed to me. The first range session did not disappoint. The pistol has a short/stocky feel similar to my HK P30SK. I know some people don't like it but it works well for me. I've got a few upgrades planned. Otherwise, it's pretty sweet and I'm planning to carry it a lot.
  • Cajun Gun Works floating trigger pin & return spring
  • CZ Custom aluminum grips
  • HYVE +3 mag bases

A few of my other favorites to carry.

Congrats from behind the iron curtain in Commiefornia!   I was lucky enough to get a decocker version a while back, and it's in my carry rotation.  Vedder AIWB holster and mag extensions by Hyve Technologies (unfortunately not +3 bc, well, Commiefornia).
Cheers!

Right now I’m just using a non-molded holster for the HK P30SK from High Noon Holsters. It fits perfectly. Eventually I’ll get molded holsters for but pistols from them.

Welcome to the RAMI Club. I have owned my decocker version since 2013, and find it very accurate. Even with the HYVE +3 magazine extensions it is still concealable in a Ryan Grizzle SSR holster:- https://rgrizzleleather.com/index.html

In my case, I didn’t find the HYVE mag extensions to be appreciably more compact than the stock CZ 14 rd. Mags with the ergonomic mag sleeve (or better yet, the same size MECGAR 15 rd mags). And the HYVE extensions were a PITA to install, as I recall. Also, considering the price of the HYVE extensions, the juice wasn’t worth the squeeze. YMMV

This quickly became my favorite carry pistol.
Upgraded a few parts:
  • LOK G10 Grips
  • Torx Grip Screws
  • Hyve Grip +3 Extensions for 10-round mags (I like the feel of these better than the 14-round mag with sleeve.)
