A new red dot/ reflex option Williams Gun Sight LRS

Just released today-really it’s designed for a hunting shotgun but the big benefit of having the sight mounted so low is if you are a stickler for cowitness it will cowitness with the original metal cz scorpion sights. Wish I could post pictures of it.

It’s a very slick well made little reflex sight.

AUG41, thanks for posting this link.  I don't think Williams has done a good job about marketing this sight.  It may be perfect for my Mini-Thirty.  I have an ACRO on my 3 Plus.
I don't understand the fascination / obsession with co-witnessing optics with BUIS.  The viewing window is so small on red dot / holographic sights co-witnessing blocks the view.  Just mount the optic on a lever actuated attaching mount and if the optic fails just remove it.

They need to spread the word. It’s a very well thought out red dot/reflex.
Yes and I totally agree about cowitnessing not my thing on almost every platform. Some insist on it though. The fact that it is so low that in shotguns it floats the circle dot just above the bead make it so natural to use. On a local forum people are mounting them on lever guns-another perfect application-Williams said they are working on adapter plates for the most popular levers of there. The Mini 14/30 series will likely benefit as well as you mentioned.

It’s very secure on the included pic base or on the available adapter plates. 4 Torx screw laterally into the base. The optic dovetails into the base on the front and both sides.i like it so much i have bought 2 so far for use on my 3 gun shotguns next year. I want to try a lever with it. I might get a third just to play anround with. Old eyes benefit from the circle dot. If you are used to running both eyes open and the housing disappears altogether but you maintain a natural grip and cheekweld. Soke new SG’s are now milled for a reflex but they are too far back in my opinion and use very small reflexes. The window ofthe Williams is the same as an RMR or 507c not like one of the shield RMS 507k Romeo zero pattern micros.

I expect to see this on many shotguns next season.

One thread is enough. Please post further in the one in General Firearms.
