19+1 in a Compact CZ
« on: January 31, 2024, 07:53:53 PM »
I'm working on a sleeve to use full size CZ magazines in a 75 Compact/P-01. I'm pretty pleased with the progress but I need some help. I'm looking for two volunteers to do some reliability and durability testing. The ideal candidate will have a P-01 and a 75 Compact and some full size magazines, be willing to shoot a lot, and be able to give honest feedback. If you're interested, please email (preferred) or pm me. I will change the title when I've got some shooters busy. Thanks in advance!

Nice!

I picked up a couple of these for my PCR. Work great and gives me 19+1. If you get them dril a hole in the base plate nefore you intall so you can easily take them off again (ask me how I know ::)  Makes installation easier as well.

Looks like a nice clean solution.

In the past, on the advice of some other forum post, I used these as a space filler for the mec-gar 19rds when used in a CZ-75 compact:

It worked quite well but isn’t as clean as your solution as they are wider than the base pad.

If these additions add mag capacity and work without fail, that's great.

On the other hand, I regularly use CZ75B 17-round mags in my P-O1 and Masada Slim without any sleeve to fill the gap between grip and mag base and have no problem. Even with my big hands, the bare metal doesn't cause me problems and I can't say I've ever even noticed the gap.

Nonetheless, for those who wish to use them for the additional capacity and aesthetics, it appears to be a nice feature.

I recently installed Hennings 2-rd extensions on my 97B mags giving me 12+1. 12+1 in a first-rate shooting pistol like the 97B is something I can recommend.

People - READ the OP. He's not asking for suggestions, he's asking for Beta testers for a product.

Again, read the OP.

I did read the OP. I voiced my opinion. Sorry, I thought that was allowed.

Of course it's allowed, but it hardly helps the OP does it? He's made a sleeve and wants someone to road test it, not suggestions about other sleeves.
