Did a couple of recent posts on Cajun Gun works packages and thought I would show my bench and install.

I don't like it.  It's too neat, too well lit, has that magnifyer thing where you can actually use it, and has that tray with the lips on it to keep stuff from rolling off the table.  And I bet it is heated in the winter and cooled in the summer.  No fair.   :)

Are you from Louisiana? I live in Gretna. Mel Ott Park is not far from me. They also have a statue of him in what they call Old Gretna.

I am originally from New Orleans and as about a 6 year old child threw out the opening pitch at the opening of the Mel Ott Park. I was also at the dedication of his statue in Gretna https://www.loc.gov/item/2021755758/. Many years later

i am a dermatologist and was in practice in Metairie and New Orleans from 1985 to 1991 when I moved to Oxford MS.

I have 2 early memories of Mel Ott. He had a mr. Moose BBQ mit he would tickle me with when he BBQd and I got a foot actuated "flinstone car" for christmas 1957 or 8
