Decocker problems with brand new CZ P-07
« on: February 19, 2024, 01:49:49 PM »
I got a new CZ a week agao and it has been, not a great experience. It came from the factory with the mag catch plug installed upside down, so my mag release fell apart the first time at the range. That has been fixed. But now I have an issue where my decocker comes loose and wiggles out of the left side a bit when firing causing a malf where when trigger is depressed, hammer doesnt fall. Does anyone know of this issue or how I can solve it?

Thank you,
New guy to the forum

Send it back to CZ, they have good customer support and will send a shipping label.  Why mess with a brand new broken gun send it back.
If I had known how much better being retired is than working I would have done it FIRST.

Check that ejector is seated in the groove on the left side of the sear pin - The decocker shaft can't move left much as it's blocked by the by the ejector if assembled correctly.

These may help you if you don't send it to CZ first.
