Subtract 178 from the counter for an actual count.

Nice clean build. I’ve always liked the Novak style sights, it’s a shame the sight cut isn’t more popular or standard on CZ. Is the rear sight zeroed in those pictures?

Yes, zeroed at about 25 ft.  The thickness of the slide and the depth of the Novak slot result in the large gap.  CGW (David) did the measurements before selection and obtaining the front sight. The rear sight is adjustable in both elevation and windage.  It is the only sight I could find that has those adjustments and Tritium elements.

Low mount cut in a CZ slide is super nice we have done a lot of with Pro Tek series , SDP series and other builds.

your specs show a Dawson. 280 high front which is pretty tall.
when we mill for the Low mount, we usually run a 6.0-6.5mm tall front which is about a Dawson .195 tall front.
which would lower your rear sight elevation.

just a thought.
