Shadow 2 “Oops Spring” Recommendations?
« on: March 22, 2024, 03:36:55 AM »
As I prepare to embark on my trigger job, it occurs to me I haven’t seen a list of springs to have extras of in the event some go flying.  I’m talking about the little fliers,  not the springs I’m upgrading.

What ”oops springs”  do you all recommend having on hand any time I disassemble my S2?

So the Shadow variants don't have firing pin block and thus you don't have to worry about the "L" spring.  That is the spring that goes missing on CZ's.

The one you may lose is the detent spring (Part 31). but that is the only one and it really isn't that small.  Don't lose the right side detent plunger (Part 15) (no spring on right side but you can lose the little piece).

Cheers,
Toby

I would order spare trigger return spring, sear spring, extractor spring, anything that will need replacement in the future.   Saves ordering a $2 extractor spring and paying $12 shipping OR finding out that that are back-ordered.  Been there done that.

Eemann tech makes a sear spring with a longer leg so it extends past the sear cage making future removal easier.
If I had known how much better being retired is than working I would have done it FIRST.
