I am a new owner of a CZ T2 .. I removed the slide to check inside gun and put slide back on but cannot make slide to stay locked back , any advice what I did wrong ?

If you have correctly reassembled the pistol, are you pushing "up" on the slide lock lever when you hold the slide back and release it?

or insert empty mag and cycle the slide rearward.

Did you reassemble with the slide stop or slide pin?
