Red Hill Tactical holsters
« on: May 03, 2024, 08:11:03 PM »
I am looking for a holster for my CZ SP-01 Shadow to use in some action pistol and other matches.

The ones from Red Hill Tactical came recommended by a local shooter.

Please share you thoughts on them, as well as any others I might look at.

Thanks!

They make a nice double layer holster, I’ve had one for several years. No complaints.

I shoot action pistol with my SP01 tactical and use a Crossbreed slapside I picked up in their seconds store. Not a competition holster but works fine for me and I shoot action pistol for the practice-not to beat the young guns.. If you can find one in their seconds store they are cheap and work. If you are wanting to be a serious competitor just ignore me.   ;D

I run a red hill tactical holster with my accushadow 2 carry optic rig.  They make a good holster.  You can swap out the retention bolt for a cam over lever and have a more secure hold when not shooting and an easy draw when shooting.

Get a good hanger and you will be in business. They are good to go.

I'd also look at the ghost Hydra p holster if you want to game it a little.  It is a hybrid holster that may give a slight draw advantage.

Cheers,
Toby

The cam over lever looks like a good idea.  Where did you get the ones you use?
