P-10c Slide Milling for RDS
« on: April 19, 2024, 06:29:12 AM »
Hi all, have a p-10c non-OR model. I just purchased the Holosun 407K along with their Holosun plate. I will need to get the slide milled in order to fit such sight. Can the slide be milled to match the bottom of the plate, having the end result similar to an OR slide? Or will the slide be milled for the 407K specifically, rendering the purchased plate useless?

Also since the rear slide notch is a bit forward compared to OR modes, will the red dot be a bit far for its use? For clarity, this is solely a range gun since I’m from Europe.

Plates you buy, are commonly for optic ready slides. I know CZ Custom can mill a shadow 2 to use their own plate system. I have not heard that being done with a p10c.

You will need to find a reputable company in your area that will mill it for the optic you have. In regards of it being too forward, I personally havent heard anyone complain about that.
