You'll enjoy it no matter what material the frame is made of. Congrats.

Well, the gun is mine now. However the guy was wrong, the frame is alloy.

Nice!! That’s bound to have some extra collectors’ value here in the US due to the novelty and rarity of the “75D COMPACT” markings on the slide. Do you mind if I ask how much you paid for it?

Does that have a loaded chamber indicator like a true PCR slide would have?

It is too bad CZ did not track such things to satisfy our curiosity and establish a true number of the odd combinations & special offerings to be found. I wrote them inquiring about the glossy blue 75B .40 S&W I bought as it is rumored to be rare. I received an answer stating they do not track these things. Not that I would make anything I own a safe queen, it would be nice to confirm these suspicions. Maybe I'll write them about the 75D Compact numbers. 😁

Well it does not have the LCI. He did put some nice fluorescent sights on it, and some fancy grips. Feels great in my hand.
I didnt actually buy it, I traded him a  Sig P228 that Ive had. 1 mag, no original grips or box or anything. I felt it was a fair trade. To be honest I like having the box and all factory items for the guns I own, and the Sig was the last gun I had that I didnt have those things.

Sounds like you made a good trade!

I believe the name "P-01"" was to satisfy the requirement that CZ firearms have a unique name if sold in certain markets for example in North America.  If you go to CZ UB, the CZ75D Compact is listed as 1 model but offerred either w/o rail (PCR) or w/ rail (P-01).  In CZ USA these are 2 separate models with different name.  Also regarding the NSN (NATO Stock Number) on the P-01, it is more of a marketing gimmick since all firearms used by NATO allies as well as any supplies are given a stock number.  The colts, barrettas and glock used by the US military had NSN it was just not engraved on the firearm.
