CZ / Glock playdate
« on: July 12, 2024, 04:24:45 PM »
I finally had a chance to make it to the range and test out some upgrades.

Shadow 2 - It has an SAO conversion, lighter springs and CZC hammer and barrel.  I was not able to get it to cycle with a comp using regular power 9MM (to be expected).  I took the comp off and it ran flawlessly.  I'm having a bit of trouble adjusting to the weight of the gun; groups were larger than what I wanted at 10 yards.  Need to work on my support grip.  But overall, I'm relieved that I've already done all the upgrades I want and it's running just fine.  The last step will be tuning for the comp.

Glock 20 Gen 4 - It has lighter springs and a Ghost Inc Edge 3.5 pound connector.  No optic cut so I'm using a Delta Point Micro.  It's looks odd with that optic, but the gun is a tack driver.  I use the front sight blade to find the dot again if I ever lose it.  No malfunctions.  This will be my camping / hiking chest rig gun.

P10-C - Factory lower, CZC upper and HBI reduced power striker spring.  Tight groups with this one and no malfunctions.  Really a joy to shoot.

Overall, for all the upgrades I did, I was expecting to run into more issues.  Still need further testing with these guns, but I'm very happy with the results so far.

Nice setups. Never seen the Delta micro, but it looks like a great option for dovetail mount optics.
