I made it out to the beautiful rifle range in Ruidoso, NM this morning. Calm, 55-60F, sunny, no one else there the entire time. P-10F, IMI ammo. I already have some excuses--shoulder still sore and right eye glasses prescription too strong per eye exam last Tuesday. Shooter still a little rusty, only got to shoot one day last week.
This went OK, all possible excuses considered. I shot two target sheets, 20 rounds each, for a total of 40 rounds at 200 yards for the day. The first target was pretty much sighters, and the second target was supposed to be a "good" target, but the eye strain got to me in the very bright conditions. I got video of the entire session, and may edit it later today or maybe tomorrow. Eyesight was the dominant issue for me.
I'm going to go back on Monday morning and give it another shot, so to speak. If I struggle again with the P-10F, I may get out the P-10C with the Burris FF3 sight and try it with the Atlanta Arms ammo. That will work if my eyes hold up.
More on Monday.
