Picked up a new P10F with the threaded barrel
« on: January 07, 2025, 05:48:54 PM »
I picked up a P10F in 9mm with the threaded barrel to be a host for my Rugged Obsidian suppressor.
I had handled a P10C and didn't quite realize how big the P10F is.  No matter it is never going to be a concealment firearm.
It is fine to shoot with or without the suppressor (of course it is better with!).

My only concern is the magazine fit, it seems you can press it in too far and then it slides down a bit and gets caught by the magazine release.
The base of the mag is undersized or the mag body is a smidge too long, something is just off by a bit.
Anyone else have this issue with the magazines?

I have a p10c, F and a glock sitting here right in front of  me. All three go in and then have a gap between the frame and magazine.

That is interesting - I have never had that issue with a Glock, a Sig, a H&K.
It is just very pronounced on this P10, it makes no difference, it runs fine, its just a little weird...

Take a pic of vid so we can see what you mean.

There isn't a huge gap but there is a space on the ones I checked. If I put pressure on it then it will close that small gap. I'll get my HKs out tomorrow and check those.

I am sure they all have a little bit of play, but on this P10, its worse than I am used to seeing.

Try another mag to determine if it's that gun or that magazine.
