Czechmate thumb safety and slide lock

I just picked up a Czechmate and don't like the safety and slide lock, I would like to put a flat safety on it and also a larger slide lock like what comes on the Shadow 2. Would the Shadow 2 parts work on the Czechmate?

I’m not sure if the shadow slide lock fits but I do know and currently use shadow 2 safeties on my Czechmate and TSO.

I just removed the slide locks on both my shadow 2 and TSO/Czechmate to check. It will work.

Here’s a pic showing the difference. It was taken a long time ago. I didn’t realized I took this pic a long time ago when I was fiddling around with both guns.

You can see the TSO has a longer cut on the hook. The shadow 2 is also shorter. TSO on the left with pad and shadow 2 on the right.

The slide stop should be compatible between the S2 and TS variants.  The magazine catch would not as the TS variants have large format magazine tubes (wider as noted above by George16). 

What safety are you interested in getting?  I have a left side CZ Custom extended safety listed in the classifieds that would fit/work on your Czechmate.  It's the left side of this set: https://czcustom.com/cz-parts-by-model/cz-tac-sports-orange/czc-ts-ext-safety-set.html

Toby, thanks for setting me straight. I confused myself between the slide lock and mag catch. Just to make sure I post the correct info, I took apart my shadow and TSO and compared the slide locks. The TSO is about 3mm longer but works just like the shadow 2 slide locks.

Here is a picture. TSO slide lock on the right and shadow 2 on the left side.
