Hi, when do you need to replace cz 75 barrel bushing and firing pin roll pin? Just been watching u tube videos and the opinions seem to vary! I have a SP01 but not sure of how many rounds it has fired.
Any advice appreciated.

The barrel bushing you can look at to see if it's waring and you can also look to see how much play it has by trying to move it in the bushing when in battery. I suggest you replace it when you do with a CGW 10x. I have one in most of my CZs. The FP retaining pin I would check at 5K maybe less and replace with a hardened pin for longer use. Contact me on the pin if you would like a couple for free because I was given a bag of 100 and for a stamp and envelope I don't mind sharing them.

Depending on how much dry firing you do I change that my pins out about once a year just so don’t get stuck. You can pick them up on Amazon for like two dollars for 20. It’s a consumable part the sooner you take it out with a lot of firing the easier it is to get out.

This is a standard pin, 2x16mm, I recommend to change it after 4-5k shots.
For dry firing I use a small o-ring under hammer, it helps

I've only changed barrel bushings on the guns that I thought might benefit from it. Does the pistol shoot groups you're happy with? If so what is the benefit of replacing the barrel bushing? I think I've replaced three bushings on new pistols over the years. Be aware (if I remember right) sometimes you may need to do some metal removal at the bottom rear of the bushing in order to get the barrel in/out of the slide. Doesn't happen on every pistol but it seems to be an issue now and then when the barrel just won't go in far enough drop down into the slide like it should.
That darn pin. Some guns go for years and don't damage the pin very much. Some seem to come out of the factory with pins that show damage from the limited firing done before it's boxed up for shipment to the wholesalers/dealers. I think it's a matter of how parts of differing dimensions fit/work together.
Good luck with it. CZs can be awesome shooting pistols right out of the box. If not the parts are out there to improve them.

I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09. What is wrong with me?

Barrel Fit: field strip gun, put slide top down on table and put barrel in. Are you able to wiggle the barrel back and forth (lugs). At the front of the slide, put your finger in muzzle and try to wiggle; does the barrel move around (bushing)?
