CZ Custom Hybrid Trigger on my AccuShadow
« on: April 09, 2025, 01:17:12 PM »
Got my Hybrid trigger and CZ 75 pre b disco in yesterday and installed them both. It was my first time working on a CZ hammer fire, i feel it went great and was not to complicated. Only hang up was having the trigger spring fly in the air and spending my time looking for it. It was almost in...I mean right there and it slipped and poof!lol

My accushadow is from 2014. I'm assuming the disconnector i took out is a CZ custom disconnector. Would I be able to use it in my SP01 tactical decocker with a fpb? I included a pic of the disconnector.

Im really liking this trigger. During dry fire I was not getting my finger pinched. I hope to get to the range soon and see how it runs. If all is good I just might get one for my SP01 tactical. I've read decockers are a little more involved.

Looks good. First thing I'll tell you is get a couple of extra springs for your SP because it's easier to grab another out of the parts box than spend time looking for it when your are putting the gun back together. I have extras of most of the small springs for my CZs. I looked at the trigger you have on the CZC website and it says you need the reach reduction kit. For my SP01s I used and prefer the CZC flat SA trigger or the factory SA trigger. You don't need the kit to put the trigger in and it brings the trigger back some which I like because I have short fingers. Also those triggers can be adjusted for less pretravel and overtravel. This is my SP01 with a CTS upper and flat trigger and a SP01 with a Bullshadow upper with a CZ 75 SA trigger.

Redhemi beautiful guns man!

I emailed Stuart at CZ Custom and he squared me away with what I needed. Being it is a cz custom gun all I had to purchase was the trigger and pre 75b short disconnector.

I thought about going SA but tbh I like having double action.

You said exactly what a friend of mine told me this morning... "get extra springs". I need to make a little list of things I want and need and hopefully get it all at once.

A shadow or pre-b connector won’t work in fpb guns.

My bad because it was straight I thought it was a single action trigger. I guess I need to slow down when reading because my old brain is slowing down lol. Thank you for the compliment, I do love my CZs. And I'll say it again having extra springs do come in handy. As for your decocker they are a little more difficult to work on until you have been through it a couple of times. First watch plenty of videos and get this time saving part  https://cajungunworks.com/product/s-pin/ it will be a big time saver and keep you from throwing stuff around when you can't get the sear cage back together. My P01 thought me that lesson.
