Yup,
still here, but have been really busy for a couple of weeks.
OK abut the grip change then...
Requirements: a good file (fine teeth), top quality epoxy, silicone carbide grit 60/90 mesh and lack of resistance to file a new gun. Patience.
* Strip the gun completely so that you just have the frame left.
* If you like to have finger grooves then make them now. Else just file away the checkering on the frame.
* Grind away the checkering on the grips or get substitute grips.
* With a brush put on the epoxy at the frame and on the grip panels. Cover with silicone carbide grit. Let it harden.
* Brush with stiff brush to get rid of loose grit and the sharpest grit.
* Reassemble the gun.
