I just got back from the Shot Show this afternoon and visited with the great CZ-USA and CZ-UB folks several times over the four day show. The Rami at the show was the .40 S&W version and I was told that it kicks a little. I think that I'll go with the 9mm Rami for now. CZ is making an extended magazine for the Rami that is the same size as a compact mag, but with a finger rest for the bit that sticks out from the Rami.

If the "high cap" mag ban ends we will see them; they will have a 13 or 14 round capacity in 9mm.

The 40P is the CZ75B-40P (compact), or something. I saw and handled one at the Shot Show. It is a .40 S&W slide set left over from the Colt contract mess, so I've been told, mated to a P-01 frame making it a .40 S&W P-01. The one that I saw had "Limited" on the slide, probably because they are only making 1,500 of them and they are all spoken for from CZ-USA.

That means that CZ-USA has no excess inventory on these coming in, they will all go out to distributors and dealers as fast as they get in. Your dealer probably will not get one from CZ-USA unless they are already on the list. My local distributor told me that he would hold one for me when he gets them in as he is on the list.

The first lot should be in this country in two or three weeks.
