S&B White Box "Range Safe" 115gr causing FTE

This has happened repeatedly enough that it seems a good idea to post.

A local gun shop had a bunch of cheapish S&B White Box "Range Safe" 115gr, so I bought a few boxes.  At the range, I would notice that my P01 would jam after almost every single round.  I tried cleaning thoroughly and toothbrushing the extractor with hoppes.  

It's odd, after each round the case seems to get "stuck" in the barrel and I have to pry it out.  It takes far more force than is provided by the extractor.  I wonder if the casing is made of a cheap alloy that expands while firing, causing it to become firmly wedged in there?  Regardless, my extractor hates it and I've noticed little shaved bits of metal (most likely my extractor) when I un-wedge the rounds.

I've yet to have this problem with any other ammo.  Usually I use Winchester range ammo that's at wal-mart.

Word to the wise: avoid this stuff like the plague.

Isn't that funny? WWB gives me problems, and is VERY dirty. While I have not used S&B white box, red box S&B has been flawless. S&B is also the ammo that CZ uses with their test targets. Guns are like kids. Some like this, some like that.

I haven't seen this stuff myself, but I suspect it is bi-metal or steel alloy cased.  I have a lot of steel case/polymer coated S&B 7.62x39mm that I purchased in 2001 or 2002.  S&B does make steel-cased 9mm, which I have seen advertised at Cheaper than Dirt.

Speaking of guns being like kids, if ammo were food, S&B would be like mac'n'cheese to my P-01.

The only failures i have had with my P-01 have been from a single 50 round box of Winchester FMJ 115gr that i bought at the range i was shooting at that day.

No failures of any kind from any other ammo I have shot, even including steel cased Wolf that I got a good price on when shopping around.
