New PCR trigger ?
« on: January 09, 2008, 04:21:51 AM »
I have been eyeing the PCR for a long time but I was not finding one, finally found an unfired "used" one with 2 14 rounders, which was slightly higher dollar than the NIB with 10 rounders I saw on GB.  So far I like the gun very much. It had one issue on its first range trip, it failed to fully feed and go into battery Norinco 124 GR FMJ, to the point in order to get the shell out I had to take the gun apart. However, I am sure it was the ammo or some variation in bullet size because Winchester and Federal HP fed and functioned fine.

That Norinco batch also had some failures to fire in a SW 5906, sometimes requiring 3 pulls of the trigger. (ammo you get what you pay for)

The question I have is, the trigger has the tiny grooves (like a target trigger) does CZ make a trigger which does not have those grooves or is smooth? Where can they be had?
Thanks

Basically, all of the different trigger styles for the 75/85 series are interchangeable. (Obviously, trying to switch from SA to DA or vice versa is a little different proposition.)

You can order them by telephone from CZ-USA, or try Angus Hobdell's retail site: http://www.ghostholster.com/
