Day 1 of my 3 day hunt went very well. Day 2 was very windy and we saw no animals. Day 3 we got rained out.
On day 1 we got to the field, and I hadn't been set up 30 minutes. Began to glass the tree line 250yds in front of me and spotted this young bull trotting along, quartering toward me. I busted him in front of his right shoulder and the bullet lodged under the hide just behind his left shoulder.
The pictures were taken by one of my hunting buddies when we got him out of the meat cooler, got him to my house to skin and quarter him up. At this point he had already been field dressed and weighed about 300lbs.
I love this rifle!
