Safety swap?

Can I swap out the saftey on a CZ SA?  It's a little big, and my thumb hits it.

uhh.. it's suppose hit it. ;)  When you shoot, put your thumb on top of the safety and hold down to help control recoil. Strong hand push, weak hand pull with both thumbs pointed to the target. Your strong hand thumb on the safety and the weak thumb in front of the slide. That will give you the most control on the gun.

I don't shoot my 1911 that way and I am not about to start shooting the CZ that way either.  I am just wondering if the saftey can be switched, or just removed completely.

it can be switched..but I think you might have to change the ejector housing too..as I think the 75SA safety is a larger diameter shaft than the 75b/85 ambi safety..
