Well, I WAS going to wait until Christmas...

...but my loving wife was having a very bad day. Christmas time is rough for her, too many memories of loved ones lost around this time of year, so it can be a time when she needs more love and support.
Santa Clause had made an early delivery.  Just for her.






She'd always liked my PO1, and wanted one just like it, and so a little help from Santa brought her a new P01, with something else brand new - the pink pearlike grips from CZ-USA. I buffed up a pair of brass grip screws I'd had for a while, and it was a winner. She ooh'd and ahhh'd over her new CZ pistol, and asked me to post pics here and everywhere.

Thank you all, we took it out briefly today, and it shoots very well indeed. The mags are the older style 14 rounders I collected a few years ago, I like them better than the plastic based ones.

 Thank you very much for the Christmas wishes.     I will never forget the people who are or were important to me. It's hard to let the hurt of loosing a parent or loved one. I had alots of respect for my dad and I miss him. I miss my mother too. I don't miss what was wrong with either of them.

 Welcome Karen.Thank you. No they don't feel slipery at all. They feel like I am shooting with custom grips. I am not sure if they do make checkered grops like mine. The factory grips are checkered.

 They are plastic but they are not a cheap plastic. They are pearl like grips. My  gun does not cause my hand to sweat or slip out of my hand.
