Sorry mate, the infection mutates, and with it a succession of clones are added to the collection.  My own collection has the representatives from the TZ75 (original TZ75 and Series 88 models, full and compact; An EAA Witness, full and compact; a BTA90 compact, a pair of AT84S (in two finishes, both full-size); and from the Springfield P9 and a P9C).  It just gets worse.  Now I'm looking for a SAB G90/91.

My name is Matthew and I have a CZ addiction. Like many of you I thought "what's ONE CZ-75 going to do?" No harm in trying it. Since that first time, my Browning Hi-power just doesn't do it for me anymore so I rarely take it out of the safe. Those 13 round magazines just don't pack the punch they once did. Before I knew it I was patrolling local gun shows and added another CZ-75, a poly-coat and nearly new. But that only satisfied me for a while before I was going online to hunt down a matte blued CZ-75 with night sights, also nearly new. Okay I started to realize I might have a problem as the 9mm isn't even my favorite handgun cartridge. It's only three... I'm not totally out of control. I was saving and waiting for a stainless 85 Combat and then I just HAD TO HAVE a stainless CZ-75B...and a CZ-452 Scout for the kid...

So far it seems to be limited to genuine CZ's but I must admit that I have eyed a Solothurn...

My name is Matthew and I have a problem.

Matthew, I feel your pain (such as it is).  Don't give up, the CZitis is not an easy cross to bear.  The only relief that I have found is to expose fellow shooters to the CZ line of pistols.  It is sometimes satisfying to trun them loose with a pistol and a mag of ammunition, then see the big smile and the look in the eyes (like another fanatic has been born).

I had started by reading about the legendary CZ75 in an article  by Leroy Thompson.  When I stumbled across one at a gun show (the vendor was selling it for his son, whose wife was on a rampage about anything he might like), and then I introduced a couple of shooting friends to the pistol (one of which ended up buying a, forgive me, Beretta 92).  On the last trip to the range I exposed a neighbor to the CZ, now he is looking at a couple more 'toys' to take to the range.

Pass it on, that is the only temporary relief you will find.  The world needs more CZ fanatics.

I too got hooked on CZ pistols. Currently have 75B and 75B compact for carry. Sold my 40P for a good price, now wish I had another one of those again. Also have CZ o/u shotgun.  I think I need a larger gun safe (for future CZs:D

My name is Lisa, and here is my story:

It all started in October, 2006. Went to a local gun shop with my boyfriend so he could pick up a beretta CX4 PX4 Carbine in 9mm. While he was doing the paperwork, I was, of course, looking at the guns. Then something told me to look up. As I did, I noticed a beautiful 30th Anniversary Edition CZ 75B on the wall. My heart started racing and my palms sweating. I had to touch it. So, I wiped the sweat from my hands and asked to see the gun. The second I had it in my hand, I knew I had to have it. So, I put some cash down and picked it up on my very next payday. I shoot it all the time and absolutely love it. In February, 2007, I got a CZ 452 Ultra Lux bolt action .22lr rifle. That brings us to March. I went back to the same store where I got my rifle and ordered a CZ 40P that I plan to use as my CCW.So, that's 3 CZ's in five months, and I think of my next CZ acquisition and smile.

Lisa!

Your story brings tears to my eyes!  I was really touched by your honesty!  We do not judge here, we just accept!  And m'am YOU ARE A CERTIFIED CZaholic!!

Congratulations on your collection, I know you'll love your CZ 40P--it's a great pistol.

I messed up the finish on mine, so I had it redone as a "Desert Tactical" what do you think?

I like the "Desert Tactical" look. I've been thinking about picking up one of the stainless 75B's. In fact, if they had had one of those in stock, I probably would have bought it instead of ordering the 40P. Now I just have to think of a way to convince my boyfriend that I really do need another CZ....maybe birthday or Christmas.....:D

Oh yeah. I've become A CZaholic. Glad to know there are others....
It all started with a CZ83 in .380. Then progressed to a 75B. Now I'm looking at other models trying to decide what's next. So many CZ's, so little time....

I think I might be done...for a while:b

Started off with a 452 American.  Next was my 75BD...then the Kadet conversion, and just today got my PCR pre-tuned from Matthew Mink.  So far, everything has been 100%.

Next up on the list of wants is an AR, but I'm just starting to look at houses so that might take a back burner for a while.  Hopefully not too long (lest I lose the opportunity permanently).

The story of the messed up finish on that now very fine pistol is bitter sweet.  I'll let Otto share it, but it brings a tear to the eye to read about it and then look at the beauty born from a mistake sent from heaven.  I like that finish, Otto.

P.S.  Unfortunately just my wife is headed to Sin city next week end for a girls get away and I don't get to go.>:   Next time they go, Otto, I am stopping by your place for a CZAnon meeting!!!:evil :evil :evil   I'll bring the ammo!

Picked up a new semi compact today - #7 in my accumulation.  My addiction started 20+ years ago when I picked up the first one and bought it before asking the price!  Have never held a cZ I didn't like.  My only regret is not purchasing more some years ago when they were so cheap.  However, that was in another country.  Still have some in other countries.  Looking for a cZ 75 DAO.
