Value of a NIB CZ 75 Pre-B
« on: January 17, 2009, 03:40:43 PM »
      Hi all,
Long time lurker, first time poster. I have several CZ 75Bs and 2 Kadets and they are my favorite pistols to shoot. The other day one of my buddys wanted a pistol so I recommended a CZ 75 B. He went to a local gun store and auto parts store combined and came back with a NIB pre-B 75. I was amazed that there were still some Pre-B 75?s still out there. I went the next day and he had 1 left. I bought it for $389.00 plus tax.
It came in a foam box with 1 mag and test target.  The foam box was in a paper square box with CZ 75 wrote on it and open at both ends. His is a 84 and mine is a 87 year model. Neither of  us has shot them yet. I did dry fie them and the trigger is smoother than my 75 Bs. What whould they be worth NIB or should we just shoot them. They are both brand new and unfired. I quess that gun store just never had a sale for them.
                    Thanks,

RV,
You are very fortunate to make that find.
I have one, and would go just about anywhere to find another.
May you enjoy your find.

Thanks for the replies so far. We are just going to keep them NIB for
a while. Just thought that if they were worth anything I might sell mine and get something I can shoot. I don't have any safe queens now. I really like the spur hammer because the 75B's I shoot now in IPSC and the Steel Challange I start with the hammer down. I have the LPA rear sight that hangs off the rear of the slide and gets in the way of my thumb. I always decock manualy. I've thought about getting a BD sometime. I have a PCR with decock and like it.

1) Good buy.

2) Shoot it.  It's not an early Luger, etc.

RV,

If you or your friend want to sell your CZ 75 pre B I would be interested in buying.
