I want to replace the sights on my 75b .40 (they are too small and no longer glow) with some meps (or similar). Where's the best place to send my slide to have them supplied and fitted?

Widge,

I bought Trijicons for my 40 75B.  I think I got mine from Midway, but Brownells probably carries them too, and probably Cheaper Than Dirt, as well as several other sources.

If you are not comfortable installing them yourself, any decent local gunsmith should be able to handle it for a very minimal fee.  The only real issue is the pin in the front sight.  But again, any decent gunsmith should be able to handle it.

If you want you can always send your slide to Trijicon and they can do the install as well as sell you the sight.

Good luck, and hope this helps.

Go with Meprolights. Mine are bright and did not change the point of aim.

Sweet! Thanks guys.

After I posted the original question I realized what I really wanted to ask was: What's the best/cheapest place for Meps or Trijicons for the 75b .40?

Mr. Widge,

Some people :rolleyes  .

Midway sells the Trijicons for 113.99

Cheaper Than Dirt sells the Trijicons for 110.78 or 99.70/member.

Hope this helps.

And before you ask, I will not look up the Meps, you can if you want too :lol  .

Try PSI. They sell the LPA line of sights with lots of options and a good price. There are several models for CZ 75's. Gunsmiths around Cleveland charge $35 to install rear sights only and $60 for front and rear...assuming that no milling is required.

I used the TPU series which is not illuminated.
