Decocker Disconnector in regular 75B from factory
« on: March 15, 2009, 01:30:20 PM »
I can take pics if someone needs to see, but I stripped my first C75B down the other night and noticed that it's disconnector was different.  Unlike my other two 75B's the disconnector only had one wing-very obviously a disconnector from a decocker gun.  Evidently it came like this from the factory.  Anyone else ever run into this?

This is a A49XX... serial number '08 gun.  My other two CZ75B's were made both before and after this one.  This one has been apart before when I put in the competition hammer, but I reused the disconnector that was in there.  At the time I only had one 75B so I had nothing else to compare.

It functions 100% so I'm tempted to leave it alone.  However, could this become a wear issue with only one wing taking the load?  I assume not since I haven't heard of any problems with the decocker guns.

the decocker disconnector only uses one side..the left side wing is not there..
if you look at a decocker hammer , it also only uses one side. also I have seen on some sears in the decocker gun..part of it is cut away also.

it shouldn't be any problem as wear goes..as haven't heard of a decocker gun going bad.

It's definitely the decocker disconnector-there is no left side.  The other day I was just showing a friend that owns BD's that his hammers don't have left side hammer hooks.  I'm going to leave it since you confirmed the decockers don't have any issues.  Thanks.
