Thought I'd share with you the outstanding service that Paul at Designer Grips (
www.designergrips.com) recently provided. I wanted some way of immediately differentiating between my CZ82 (9mm Mak) and CZ 83 (.380) pistols under low light conditions.
This gave me the excuse to order a set of grips from Paul. I've been following some of the postings about his grips and decided to go for it. A different color of grips would provide the easy ID feature I wanted. The faux burl walnut seemed to fit the bill; sufficiently different in color from the factory black grips while at the same time keeping a somewhat "standard issue" appearance.
I ordered the grips on a Friday, and Paul worked on them over the weekend so he could ship on Monday. I don't know where else you can get that kind of service! He even sent some photos of them just before shipping.
The grips look great and fit the CZ 83 perfectly. I also tried them on the two CZ 82's and they fit those pistols perfectly. Although they are plastic, they seem more solid than the factory grips.
If I can figure out how to post photos of the grips I will do so.
