Need help with CZ 82
« on: November 22, 2009, 03:32:12 PM »
I'm hoping someone has a parts gun and may be able to help me out.  After I refinished my 82, I noticed the disconnector was able to rotate in its hole when the slide was off - apparently lost a pin (#23, headed pin on the blow up diagram).  Same pin is used on the other side of the frame as well.  Anyone got a parts gun, interested in selling this pin?  Appreciate any help.

You could give CZ-USA a call and ask for the item.  It'll be a CZ-83 part.  So you might as well ask for two to make it symmetrical.  The 82 has a flat side where the 83 has a round head on the pin.

I broke pin 25.  CZ USA didn't have a replacement and said I could drill out the frame in two places for the new pin design and associated new spring design.  My solution was to make a new pin out of some stock steel from Lowes.  I did a good job so it works fine.
