A nice 4 day weekend, son at school, what's a fellow to do in the cool crisp morning hours?
Go shooting, whatever else did you think?

So off I went to the local range, STILL a nice free well maintained setup. Most of the time was occupied with testing new loads of the 124gr 9mm Golden Sabre bullets I had aquired, but the end was reserved for the vz-58. I ran short of time well before I ran short of ammunition, (had to pick up the Thanksgiving feast prior to 10 of the clock.), but I did see the rifle still works perfectly.
Only fly in the ointment - I left my shooting stool at home, so all shots were fired standing. The EOTech was once again very easy to use.
I must say, who knew the UN flag was such an excellent aiming point?

By the way, I wasn't shooting low, I was shooting high, had the target mounted upside down, completely by accident, I assure you.
As I was running short on time, I stuffed a magazine full, and tried rapid fire, standing, (two shots a second or so), at 50 yards, at a standard B-27 target. The five taped ones were the last of a batch of reloads I wanted to get rid of. I don't post perfect targets, as I am not the worlds greatest shot, but I can rest assured, if I am viciously attacked by a bunch of B-27 targets at 50 yards, I am well protected.

The new stock once again stayed on firm, never budged. I think this one is a good one!
This rifle is ALWAYS fun to shoot!
