Another grip request.
« on: December 30, 2009, 07:08:46 PM »
I went and handled a 75 today.  It's my understanding that it's the same size as the 85.  I liked it okay, seemed to point well but I have pretty big hands and need a more filling grip.  For comparison, the Sig 226 fits my hand perfectly.  Any suggestions?

Shoot whatever is comfortable in your hands and whatever you can hit the target with. Sigs are nice.  I sold my last Sig to buy my 85C.  The 75 and the 85 are the same size. The CZ is perfect for me.  I'm also a 1911 fan but that is for another story.

Check out CZ Custom they have a good selection of grips and info online regarding the size and weight. If you want wood grips, Hakan and Marschal Gripsare popular.

Another suggestion is to look at the SP01. It has a different grip geometry and fits my XL meat hooks better than the 75/85.

I really like sigs too. Just a bit pricey. I went Dan Wesson and CZ and have no regrets.

You can get thicker grips.  Another suggestion...the Tanfoglio Witness.  Grip is larger.  It's a heavier gun, however.
