Pre-B CZ85?

Saw a CZ85 the other day with a rounded trigger guard and the seller stated it was a "Pre-B 85", is there such a thing? Date by the ejector port is 1987, it is actually earlier than my Pre-B 75.

Yes, I had an 85 Combat dated 1988 and it was a Pre B.

Yes they exist. I have one with basic military sights, spur hammer, rounded trigger guard, plastic grips with older original CZ emblem and enamel finish.  Probably a GI bring back as it has no import markings what so ever.  They are a bit rare so if you see one grab it.

I just got this on gunbroker.  It kinda confused me because it has a spur hammer, but a square trigger guard. I'm totally stoked though.

I have a transitional 85 so it is "sort of" a pre-b.
