Owner of a CZ527 Wood Stock in .223

Maybe a strange question to ask here But, are you satisfied with the accuracy of your CZ527-.223 .  I have been to other sites and this one too, asking many, many questions, wood stock, laminate stock etc.. I want want to get a good 223 target rifle to last me a lifetime.  Tikka T3, Savage Model 12 and of course CZ527 are my choices. Anyway to those who have a 527 in .223 cal. are you happy with the accuracy? Do you wish you bought something else??? I will use it for target only, 100 yards max.

Any 527 issues?

:)I know just buy one and start shooting!! Right?
Thanks!!

Well Stash.....

I only own two 527s in .223. 527 American and 527 FS.

Both of them shoot more accurately than I can. And I know my way around a trigger.I've spend more hours just in "dime drills" than most shooters have shooting. Thank you Uncle Sam.

But I have to be honest.....I'm not a hard core paper puncher looking for 1/4 MOA. Minute of woodchuck is good enough for me.

CZ, Savage (12 series) or Tikka.....they are all going to shoot bleep good. The difference between the 3 is not going to be a difference in the manufacturer, its going to be a difference in the individual rifle.

However, if you are a hard core dedicated BR shooter the Savage 12 models with the BR stock gets the nod.  Their BR guns are designed for shooting off bags and ride the bags a bit better than either the CZ  or Tikka stocks.

But unless you can already shoot 1/2 MOA you're not going to notice the difference. And if you already can shoot 1/2 MOA and are looking for 1/4 MOA then the truth is you shouldn't be asking about a "stock" gun....you should be looking at custom rifles.

Just buy a CZ.

Best.....2few
