New CZ82 having an issue
« on: August 02, 2010, 04:26:03 PM »
Hello all- Got my CZ82 a few weeks ago and LuV it!  O0

However I seem to be having a small issue, after about 75 rounds through it, I noticed the extractor pin was creeping out of the slide. Pressed it back in, shot some more, and wouldn't you know it, bleep thing just keeps creeping out of the slide.

Anyone know how to remedy this? Thanks in advance.

Here's the pictures I know you all wanna see.

You need to "stake" the end of the pin.  Staking is spreading the end of the pin to jam it into its hole so it can't work its way out.  A gunsmith can do this for you very quickly.  Just let your fingers do the walking in the Yellow Pages.

It's been media blasted and Parkerized. I love the way it turned out, but have yet to decide what Grips I want for it. I saw one on here that had bead blasted original grips that I think I might try doing to mine as well.
