SP01 Tactical- Gap in barrel?
« on: July 06, 2010, 09:16:03 PM »
Someone mentioned that I should post this question here. I bought this gun last friday from you and noticed that I have a gap in my barrel. Its enough to see the round in the chamber. I originally thought it was a round indicator but the manual says this gun does not come with a round indicator.

Everything looks flush

Just checked my P-01. Has the exact same gap and I've experienced no problems at all with it in approx. 100 rounds. The main thing is that the round is fully seated in the chamber and the case is supported. You should be okay.

True, but your SP-01 is nothing more than a P-01 with a .900" longer barrel. The slide, barrel, trigger, and fire control assemblies are most likely identical. Therefore, since my P-01 shot perfectly about 3 hours ago with the same gap between the slide and barrel that yours shows, I'm about positive that it is designed that way and that you'll have no problems with it.

We're not having two discussions about this. There's already a two page thread here: http://www.czforumsite.info/index.php?topic=32381.0

If you're still worried about this despite all the answers you've already had, please pick up a telephone and  either speak to CZ-USA or call Angus direct at CZ Custom.
